Luke Shulman was born and raised in Spokane, WA. He started his health care career in Bellingham, WA in 2010 working in the sterile processing department of a local hospital. He completed his degree in surgical technology in 2013 and was employed at a surgery center assisting in outpatient ophthalmic procedures. In 2014, he moved back to Spokane to elevate his surgical technology skills by working at a level II trauma center. Luke specialized in general surgery at Sacred Heart Medical Center before deciding to return to school to pursue his goal of becoming a physician assistant. Luke graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant Program in 2018. He then joined Columbia Surgical Specialists and is a member of the colorectal surgery group. Luke enjoys working with this team where he is able to contribute to both the surgical and clinical aspects of patient care.
In his free time, Luke loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys DIY projects around the house and loves anything techy.
