These cancers can found along the jaw, tongue, palate, tonsils, back of the tongue as well as within the throat and voicebox. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common type of head and neck cancer and is typically treated with a combination of surgery as well as adjuvant radiation or chemotherapy. Thyroid and Parathyroid Disease
Our thyroid/parathyroid center is designed to offer multi-disciplinary care teaming up with local endocrinologists and provide a seamless experience. We treat patients with a variety of thyroid and parathyroid disease including thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, goiter, Graves’ disease, hyperparathyroidism, parathyroid tumors and offer Genomic testing using molecular markers for personalized medicine.
Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS)
Given the rising incidence of HPV-mediated tonsil and base of tongue cancer, we offer TORS surgery for the treatment of early stage oropharyngeal cancer as well as the treatment of benign throat tumors.
A minimally invasive approach to the treatment of sialadenitis, or inflammation of the salivary glands most often due to a blockage such as a stone or area of narrowing (stenosis). This outpatient procedures is done through the natural opening of the salivary duct to allow relief of the obstruction while preserving the salivary gland with minimal recovery time.
We treat a variety of skin cancers affecting the face and neck and offer reconstructive surgery when needed including delicate areas such as the nose or ear.
