Rana N. Ahmad, MD, FACS
Dr. Ahmad has been practicing surgery in Spokane since 1997 after graduating from University of North Dakota school of medicine. His practice involves full range of surgery with special interest in robotic, laparoscopic, hernia, thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
He has also been involved in teaching surgery to medical students and residents and is Assistant Professor of surgery for University of Washington school of Medicine and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons.
He has active privileges at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Holy Family, Deaconess and Valley hospitals and was formerly chair of the department of surgery at Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Ahmad is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon, including robotic assisted surgery to treat a variety of complex conditions and diseases.
